Dr. Clark holds a Ph.D. in Management Science (MIS concentration) from the University of Texas at Dallas and has an established research record in cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, and technology-enabled risk analysis. Her work focuses on maritime cybersecurity, supply chain security, and workforce development, with an emphasis on translating analytical models into decision-support tools for operational environments.
She has led multiple federally funded projects supporting applied cybersecurity research and workforce development, and has extensive experience with DoD-aligned initiatives. Dr. Clark has played a central role in expanding UNCW’s capacity as an NSA/DHS-designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense and in developing interdisciplinary programs that integrate technical, operational, and governance perspectives. She also leads development of cyber-physical research environments, including simulation and cyber-range capabilities, supporting both research and training.
