Dr. Eman Ghoneim (Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences) lead a team using satellite imagery, geophysical surveys, and sediment samples to confirm the location and create a map of an abandoned river branch connected to one of Egypt’s largest pyramid fields. Dr. Hayley Estrem and fellow faculty from UNCW School of Nursing received $240,000 in grant funding to launch the Family-Centered Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) Research Consortium in partnership with nonprofit Feeding Matters. The Conference on College Composition and Communication awarded Dr. G. Edzordzi Agbozo (Department of English) its Outstanding Dissertation Award in Technical Communication (2022) and nominated his work for Best Article Reporting Qualitative or Quantitative Research in Technical or Scientific Communication (2023).
