This study explores EHRs in a hospital environment and investigates their relationship to quality of care and patient safety. Further, data collected from 2007-2010 will provide the opportunity to perform time-series analysis over the 3 year period which includes 2010, when the stimulus incentive increased EHR investments and adoption significantly. Time series analysis provides insight and the chance to analyze EHR implementation lag time.
