Wray, Barry

Barry A. Wray is an Associate Professor of Management Science in the Cameron School of Business at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He received his Ph.D. and MS degrees in Management Science from Virginia Tech and his BS degree from Bridgewater College. Dr. Wray’s primary areas of research are in applied artificial neural networks, quantitative methods, information systems, and inductive reasoning. He has been an active participant at both national and regional professional meetings. He is a former President of the Southeastern Chapter of INFORMS and is currently the President-Elect for the Southeast Chapter of Decision Sciences. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Cape Fear chapter of APICS. He has published in Journal of Information Management and Computer Security, International Journal of Productivity and Quality Management, Journal of International Technology and Information Management, Production Planning and Control ,The International Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, The Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, Advances in Artificial Intelligence in Economics, Finance, and Management. He also won the Stephen J. Shaw's Allied Southern Business Association Distinguished Paper Award for the Best Paper at the 1993 Southern Marketing Association Conference.
