• Dr. Megan Wydick Martin is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Information Systems at The University of North Carolina Wilmington. Megan received her PhD in Business Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Before joining the faculty at UNCW, Dr. Martin was an Associate Professor at Meredith College. Dr. Martin is a proud alumnus of UNCW, earning her Bachelor’s in Math in 2005 and her MBA from the Cameron School of Business in 2007. Dr. Martin completed the SAS Data Science program in 2018 and continued honing her expertise in analytics with two Google Analytics certifications, a Microsoft Excel certification, and micro-credentials in Python, R and SQL. She is published in ABDC-ranked journals, including Decision Sciences, International Journal of Applied Management and Technology, and Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education. Dr. Martin continues to engage in the community as the President and COO of the Bryce Martin Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports blind and visually impaired children. In addition, she assists corporations by consulting in areas including Business Process Improvement, Inventory Management Support Systems, and Nonprofit Organization Development.
