Coastal resources are employed to engage students through field explorations of barrier island flora, fauna and environmental issues. We developed free and accessible, web-based resources and lesson plans with students and teachers. This presentation highlights the critical juncture of science content and pedagogical integration. Resources will be shared with participants.
