The objective of this ongoing study is to provide a step-by-step guide for developing and validating ML–based prediction models for cognitive decline using the National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS) dataset, which is a publicly available, nationally representative U.S. study of Medicare beneficiaries aged 65 years and older.
