Teacher candidates begin a “traditional” internship in a Southeastern North Carolina classroom with a partnership (host) teacher for first 10 weeks. Teacher candidates participates in a international field experience for the final five weeks in a Belizean school. Responsibilities include assisting acting teachers with daily functions including instructional methodology and practice, classroom supervision, and professional development
