The SMILE (Specialized Medical Interventions for Learners with Exceptionalities) Collab is a shared endeavor designed by faculty in Education and Nursing aimed to prepare prospective special educators and nurses to collaboratively serve children with disabilities who have complex medical needs. Practical implications of the project will be shared with the audience, including instructor developed materials, resources, and results of the project.
