Abstract
This article offers insights on the collaborative efforts of teachers, the building principal, district instructional leaders, and university faculty in shaping a powerful, relevant learning experience for middle school students in a way that enhanced collaboration and student engagement. Drawing on research, noting best practices in the field, and including the voices of students, teachers, administrators, and faculty, this piece offers a powerful, multi-level collaborative approach can serve as a catalyst for enhanced teaching and learning in today’s schools.
