Abstract
- With the dramatic changes going on in our economy it is important to track how those in the Operations Management field are farng. This paper will review an ongoing research project which is collecting data from professionals in the field of Operations in rgard to three major areas. 1. Anticipated operations management employee hiring for the next 0‐6 and 7‐12 month time horizons. 2. Current salary and compensation by job function and title. 3. Specific knowledge/skill sets required/preferred for various job areas.
