The Oxford Dictionary of Late Antiquity (ODLA) is part of a stories series of thematic dictionaries published by Oxford University Press. The Oxford Classical Dictionary (OCD) remains the authoritative reference for students and scholars alike when engaging in scholarship related to the Classical worlds of ancient Greece and Rome. The ODLA is a new contribution that provides a complimentary dictionary to the OCD but focused entirely on the later history of the ancient Mediterranean (Late Antiquity). All entries are written by leading scholars in the field.
