As a significant portion of music is now created and consumed in the digital medium, this session will offer hands-on activities for participants to understand how digital technology can be useful in enhancing students creative thinking and expanding music participation, when students have opportunities to make original beats using digital technology. Through group facilitated and mediated beat making, participants will co-create original beats and experience first-hand how to enhance creative thinking in music.
