Attrition is a significant concern in the athletic training profession. Career advancement opportunities, particularly leadership roles could play a role in retention however; it has yet to be evaluated. Objective: Investigate if there is a relationship between perception of leadership opportunities for athletic trainers (ATs), job satisfaction, and intent to leave the profession.
