Abstract
An exploratory qualitative study was conducted with a group of nine children to examine their learning experiences with a virtual world. Children’s perceptions of an educational games embedded in this virtual world were investigated. Preliminary findings indicated that education games should not be perceived as a guarantee of enjoyment and interest among all children. Further research should be conducted to identify betters ways to design and engage children with educational games.
