How do would-be literary editors learn to edit, and how can those who practice the craft pass on their skills? Ecotone, edited by creative-writing faculty at UNC Wilmington, offers MFA students both a practicum course in literary-magazine editing and intensive editorial apprenticeships. Phillips, the magazine's editor, will offer strategies for teaching and learning editing from Ecotone and beyond, including possibilities for those working outside of academic programs.
