An ongoing collaborative effort between university researchers and a local middle school team of teachers, principals, and district leadership has focused on the unique roles each of the educators play in working together in a school-based project-based learning (PBL) effort. In seeking to better understand the perspectives and relationships present in a learning community, university researchers surveyed students and teachers regarding their perceptions. This paper focuses on the teacher perceptions.
