  • Dr. Sam Winemiller is the Open Knowledge & Research Impact Librarian at UNCW Library. Sam helps with scholarly publishing, research impact, open access, open education, UNCW's institutional repository, and Scholars@UNCW.

  • Sam's research interests focus on theory in libraries and increasing the impact of research for the public good. Before librarianship, his research focused on sport and recreation from a cultural studies approach, and he continues to engage in that field as well.
