I earned my BSN from UNC Wilmington followed by a nursing residency position at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Emergency Department. Since then, I have continued my career in Emergency Nursing with positions in leadership, information technology and education. I received my MSN and MHA at University of Phoenix and a DNP in Leadership at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
In addition to teaching at UNCW, I continue my clinical practice as a part-time nurse in the emergency department.
