In the U.S., introverted people are outnumbered three to one by extroverts (Kroeger). Many of the traditional networking and career tips call for extroversion, which can be intimidating for the introverted person. In this panel, we will outline some best practices and provide resources while drawing from the life experiences from introverts who are successful in their respective domains. The diverse panelists include representatives from both teaching and research environments.
