  • The Power of Print and Pixels: 65 Years of UNCW Student News is an exhibit from University Archives that invites visitors to examine UNCW’s unique story as told by its longest-running student publication, the Seahawk. Since 1948, the Seahawk has covered UNCW news while reporting on a broad range of issues that affect higher education. Topics include war and peace, civil rights, and academic freedom. On its 65th birthday, we celebrate this news organization and its legacy as a historical primary source. Opening Reception: Friday, September 20, 3 p.m. Exhibit & opening reception held in Randall Library Special Collections.
