Description
The purpose of this study was to examine boundary ambiguity and other factors contributing to psychosocial well-being of young adults who grew up experiencing parental depression. Parental depression can create ambiguous loss (Boss, 1988), as the parent is physically present, but psychologically absent. Preliminary findings from an exploratory, cross-sectional, correlational study of n = 120 young adults using multiple regression analysis were discussed.
