Abstract
- The purpose of this project is to construct field trip resources and activities for use by classroom teachers as they plan and prepare students for field trips. Teachers will be able to use the resources and activities to implement pre- and post-field trip activities to connect the field trip experience with their ongoing curriculum and instruction in the classroom. The activities will be designed to integrate the North Carolina Essential Standards in Science with the authentic and motivating weather exhibits at the Wilmington Children’s Museum.
