Yours in the struggle for critical foundations courses: Grieving and transformin student resistance

This panal presentation presented the perspectives of six diverse university faculty from four different institutions as they work to develop a critical multicultural framework in their social foundations courses. The presentation is in two parts. In part one, presenters/authors give examples of specific classroom strategies they found effective in helping students to reflect upon structural inequality . In part two, presenters discussed the impact that school-based experiences had on their pre-service teachers in foundations courses.
