The self-titled album Duo Sureño marks a full-circle moment for soprano Nancy King and guitarist Robert Nathanson, who first began performing together in 1999. Highlighting the breadth of their artistic partnership, the recording features works by composers Christopher Gable, Maurizio Guerandi, David Leisner, and William Grosvenor Neil, alongside collaborations with saxophonist Laurent Estoppey and violinist Livia Sellin, traversing soundscapes from duos and trios to intimate solo guitar. Their discography also includes Continuum (2023), Waking the Sparrows (2018), and At the Edge of the Body’s Night (2010).
