  • Presentation highlights the work of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in supporting educators as they incorporate essential 21st century knowledge and skills, including geographic literacy, in pre-existing curricula. Curricula aimed to foster a global understanding of the needs of children and families while empowering young children to affect positive changes locally will be shared. Opportunities for geographic teaching and learning in context will be emphasized.
