The concept of virtual study abroad became more prominent during the COVID crisis when schools could not participate in the familiar on-site programs that were part of most MBA and other graduate programs. This paper compares the pros and cons of virtual experiences to on-site programs. Virtual study abroad programs have become a viable option for some situations and students.
