The UNCW Library MakerStudio took a leap of faith and started hosting 2 workshops a week during the regular semester. From promotion to instruction, we found that these low-barrier-of-entry workshops were appealing and fun for participants. Attendees will not only learn how these workshops were successful, but how to create their own workshops to implement in their own spaces. Brainstorm ideas and challenge yourself to develop engaging instruction that can be completed in under an hour.
