The 14th annual AGHE Teaching Institute (TI) is designed to meet the ever-changing needs of educators in the field of aging while keeping educators up to date on pedagogical developments and innovations in the field of gerontology education. This year the TI planners will focus on teaching aging in the age of AI. This workshop will provide an introduction to AI and various generative AI interfaces and models, how AI can be used as a teaching tool and ally, and how to incorporate and utilize AI in aging-related class assignments and research projects. Participants will be invited from across GSA member groups to engage with one another to foster interprofessional collaboration and interdisciplinary application.
