The rapid evolution of generative AI (GenAI) has presented new opportunities for higher education. Faculty in higher education are increasingly recognizing the potential of GenAI tools (i.e., OpenAI’s GPT) to improve student learning by offering personalized content, automating routine tasks, and fostering innovative teaching strategies. This study aims to systematically examine the current state of research on how faculty perceive, adopt, and use these technologies to enhance student learning outcomes in higher education.
