In Japanese, indefinite expressions such as 何か are highly frequent in spoken language, but underused by learners and difficult to acquire. I present a series of information gap activities with different levels of scaffolding that elicit indefinite expressions naturally over the course of completing the task and showcase various AI tools for making prompts more easily.
