Training Overview, What to Expect The X-Culture team is dedicated to preparing students for their careers in a globalized work environment. With a strong emphasis on best practices for Global Virtual Team collaboration, participants will explore resources that help monitor and evaluate student performance, learn about collaboration tools available, and discover new strategies for effectively presenting course content while facilitating X-Culture.
The program is highly interactive. With colleagues representing universities from many parts of the world, faculty will work independently and collaboratively to investigate the opportunities and challenges of teaching with X-Culture. Workshop attendees will receive comprehensive, hands-on training in program principles, best practices, assessment, and other related topics.
At the end of this training workshop, participants will be able to: Identify strategies for improving student success related to the X-Culture Project
Discuss the challenges and benefits of Global Virtual Teams, and encourage your students to develop positive, productive team environments
Further develop student engagement through the use of course activities, coaching, and feedback techniques
Utilize tools and resources that can help the instructor and students
Identify tools and strategies for monitoring student performanceInterpret performance-related reports and statistics
Examine how best to evaluate students in the collaborative environment
