AIB 2023: Teaching and Education SIG Professional Development Workshop

This workshop is designed for those who are seeking to gain a comprehensive understanding of generative AI applications, related to teaching and learning International Business in higher education context. Participants may come from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, and professional designations, including, but not limited to: professors in all IB-related disciplines, research and teaching assistants, instructors, and lecturers, administrators, and doctoral candidates.
In this high impact pre-conference workshop, participants will (1) gain training on the current state of AI as a tool to facilitate education and educators in IB (2) engage in hands-on activities using AI tools for completing various education-related tasks, and (3) experience reflective and critical appraisal of AI applications for experiential learning in IB. Topic support materials and resources will be provided to participants in the session, and shared digitally, post-session.
A certificate of workshop completion will be provided to all participants after the event.
