This study investigates the historical and cultural identity of one of Istanbul's most significant marketplaces, Unkapanı Bazaar. The bazaar's journey from the textile trade in the 1950s to becoming the heart of Turkey's record industry in the 1960s is particularly emphasized. This transformation is not only seen as a commercial shift but also a cultural process.
