  • The project assesses the economic impacts of Carolina Beach Inlet navigability as of 2022-2023 on the following economic sectors: 1) Estuarine/waterway ("sound- side") waterfront residential property values, 2) Water/environmental quality in the CB basin and marsh areas, 3) Commercial fishing and seafood markets, 4) Charter and head boat fishing, 5) Private recreational fishing and boating, 6) Ecotours and entertainment vessel activity, 7) Transient boating, 8) Industrial support vessel activity, and 9) Safety at sea.
