Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to assess the economic impacts of Carolina Beach Inlet (CBI) navigability as of 2022-2023. CBI is located in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. The study considers the impacts of navigability loss on estuarine-waterfront property values, water quality, commercial fishing and seafood markets, recreational head boat and charter fishing, ecotour and entertainment businesses, private fishing and boating, transient boating, industrial support vessel activity, and vessel safety.
