Clinical practice rotations are crucial for respiratory therapy students' learning. A study of the 2021 cohort aimed to understand how students’ sense of belonging during these rotations influences their learning experiences. The study found that the relationship between the student and preceptor significantly impacts the students' sense of belonging and learning experiences during clinical practice rotations. It suggests that teaching hospitals and programs should focus on supporting preceptors to enhance students' sense of belonging and overall learning.
