Abstract
- In order for funded projects to demonstrate good performance, the evaluation process needs to be a part of the planning process. Additionally, every step of these processes should be documented and connected. This paper provides a brief description of the logic model and how evaluation has been a key piece in the planning and implementation of a NSF-sponsored project, Using Squeak to infuse Information Technology (USeIT), at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Information about the project and its Program Evaluation Research Team (PERT) are provided. Examples are included to describe how the team is using the logic-modeling process to plan activities, review outputs, and measure outcomes.
