In order for faculty to change our pedagogy, practices, and partnerships we must know both the historical and present-day contexts of colonization within education. This session will provide a critique of the foundation of higher education to begin to help educators be self-reflexive on the ways that we benefit from colonization through current systems and practices and how we can begin to transform our praxis.
