Presentation

Overview
Description
In fall 2022, the data librarian, science librarian, and scholarly communications librarian at UNCW partnered with the campus Research Integrity Office, Title IX, and Environmental Health & Safety office on Responsible Conduct of Research training. In February, the NIH released a policy update for Responsible Conduct of Research training for graduate students involved in NIH grant-funded projects. The required training topics have expanded to include more depth of coverage; consequently, the Research Integrity Office reached out to potential collaborators with relevant expertise to develop an expanded training program. This presentation will trace the development of this new collaborative version of mandatory research ethics training, as well as share how the library used this training for graduate student outreach.
