Black men and women have the highest rates of HTN and HTN-related deaths of any racial, ethnic, or sex group in the United States. This session describes a partnership with a local hospital and school of nursing to provide health education and Fitbits® to local Black barbershop and salon clients to improve physical activity and cardiovascular health and study relationships among Fitbit use, physical activity, and blood pressure.
