An Investigation into the Perceived Value of Participating in a Local Coffee Group on the Lives of an Older Adult LGBT Population

This pilot study aims to Identify and describe the Social Determinants of Health that influences an LGBT population in the Detroit area. It explores the value of social support that an older adult social group at a local LGBTQ community center provides to these members. It uses Community Based Participatory Research as it's framework and will provide the Community Center with study results to support the needs of this population through future programming.
