Constructing Distributed Computations in an Undergraduate Grid Computing Course Academic Article uri icon

Abstract

  • This paper describes our efforts to design assignments to contrast three approaches for constructing distributed computations in an undergraduate grid computing course, namely using a production-style grid portal, using the command line, and using a grid computing workflow editor called GridNexus. Survey instruments were used to collect results for a comparative analysis. We report our findings from the surveys.
