Abstract
- This proposal aims to redevelop the EXS 217 – Human Anatomy & Physiology II course by implementing a more inclusive curriculum based on ideas proposed by the Human Anatomy & Physiology Society (HAPS) and other anatomical associations. This will be achieved by including gender, race, and sex diversity-related topics across the anatomical system's content of the course. Additionally, a final project will be designed to actively engage students in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through interviews and/or observational practices of professionals in their respective areas.
