Description
- A two-year floristic survey of Sandy Run Savannas State Natural Area documented 590 vascular species. Of these, two were federally endangered and 21 others also are tracked by NC Natural Heritage Program. Recommendations were made concerning site management needs that included prescribed burning and restoration.
