Abstract
- This is a mixed-methods quality improvement (QI) project with the goal of enhancing the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child Research Collaborative (WSCCRC) that was piloted with 10 UNCW undergraduate students in Spring 2021. The WSCCRC is funded by an Innovation in Undergraduate Research & Creativity Award through Spring 2021. The Collaboratory is centered on the ASCD® and Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model (WSCC). The intent of the WSCCRC is to establish a pipeline of interprofessional student scholars committed to WSCC-related research. For the proposed QI project, two student leaders will assist with: 1) conducting a qualitative content analysis of WSCCRC pilot participants’ final reflections, 2) developing the WSCCRC recruitment and implementation plan for Fall 2021, 3) and developing a process and impact evaluation plan for the WSCCRC beginning in Fall 2021.
