Research Day abstract: This three-hour virtual day is an inclusive gathering of professionals and researchers from diverse communities around the world who are interested SFBT research. The day focuses on providing an update of the latest published solution focused studies and the progress the SFBTA Research Committee has made towards evidenced-based registry and website presence. Innovative and emerging researchers are mentored and supported through the research award, and the day includes presentations from past award recipients and announcements of current award winners. Networking for academics and practitioners from all over the world interested in solution focused research is provided through breakout discussion groups. The goal of the research day is to grow the evidence-base and spread the word about solution focused research.
*I co-planned and co-hosted (via zoom) this event. It was the annual Research Day of the Solution Focused Brief Therapy Association's annual conference. I also presented a brief talk and hosted subsequent breakout rooms on diversity initiatives past and future within the field of SFBT.
