Abstract

  • This report is an initial analysis of data collected from nine ScoutReach Cub Scout Packs in the Wabash Valley District, Boy Scouts of America in Vigo County, Indiana. The program impact evaluation process strives to scientifically measure whether or not the Cub Scout program is having a positive impact on Cub Scouts’ lifestyle behaviors related to personal fitness, citizenship, and character development. Data were collected via pre- and mid-tests administered to the Cub Scouts approximately on September 1, 2012, and December 10, 2012.
