This study evaluated RN-BSN nursing students' (n=27) satisfaction & critical thinking comparing written case analysis assignments to digital clinical experiences (DCE) using a pre-post study design with the Health Sciences Reasoning Test (HSRT). ANOVA revealed HSRT scores were not statistically different pre to post test or between groups. Students in the DCE group were more satisfied and confident with learning.
