Description
The purpose of this session is to train simulation educators in Method Acting that allows for learners to live truthfully under imaginary circumstances. The Method Acting approach uses techniques to strip away societal filters which inhibit the actors’ ability to enter into the world of the patient. Instead of trying to put on or wear psychosis, actors are facilitated to enter into the patient’s truth. This approach can be been deemed instrumental in growing an adequately trained pool of psychiatric mental health standardized patients.
